In addition to the original 455/370hp 4 barrel V-8 engine with functional forced air induction, it also features the original M21 close-ratio 4 speed transmission with Hurst floor shifter, G88 3.91 Anti-spin differential and the super-rare W-27 aluminum and differential cover, which saved 18 pounds over the standard-issue differential. This 442 W-30 was treated to a body-off-frame concours restoration, which was completed by Mascar Classics in Costa Mesa, California. In includes refinish in the factory-correct code-19 Black with White Pearl stripes, as well as factory-correct white bucket seats. The W-30 version of the 455 Oldsmobile Rocket V-8 was the most powerful engine ever offered in the Oldsmobile intermediate, and like its GM cousins, would be the zenith of the muscle-car era. Documented with the dealer copy shipper, Rocket Report and GM of Canada paperwork, this 1970 442 W-30 was awarded Concours Gold at MCACN in 2016 scoring 1,000 out of 1,000 points.
